Change "Auto Attendant Greeting" on Partner Voice Mail VS 

Change "Auto Attendant Greeting" on Partner Messaging

If in doubt, press your "Voice Mail" button and the voice mail lady will say "Welcome to...."


Please find below a few of the most common button programming sequences.

1. Label the button
2. Press the "Feature" button, then 00 (zero, zero).
3. Press the button you wish to program
4. Input the desired feature code below:
     a. V-mail.........................................Left intercom button, 777
     b. Direct to V-mail...................... "Feature",14
     c. Do not disturb......................... "Feature", 01
     d. Outside speed dial............... Dial the number      (don't forget 1 and area code if necessary)
     e. Inside intercom speed dial.. Left intercom button, *, extension number ( Omit the star * for no voice announce)
      f. Last number redial............... "Feature", 05
     g. To program another button go back to step 3 above.
5. Press "Feature" 00 (zero, zero) again when finished.

To change the main auto-attendant greeting on Partner Mail:
Please note that these instructions are for "Partner Mail" or "Merlin Mail", and not "Messaging".

Login to Administrators Mailbox
Press V-mail button or dial 777
Enter mailbox number 99 #
Enter password XXXX #

After logging in...

The voice mail lady will list a couple of options.
1. Press 9 (non-spoken option)
2. The voice mail lady will list a variety of options.
3. Press 3 for "Auto Attendant"
4. Select auto-attendant number 1 (if requested)
5. Select 1 for day menu (or 2 for night)
6. Select 6 to modify
7. Press * # to bypass "selector codes" DO NOT MODIFY ANY SELECTOR CODES!
8. Select 1 to record the greeting
9. Record greeting, press 1 when finished, follow instructions to listen or re-record
10. Press * # when finished (Very important, will not save if you don't approve it)
11. Repeat steps 5-10 for night greeting

To Add, Delete, or Modify a Mailbox

1. Login to Administrators Mailbox
2. Press V-mail button or dial 777
3. Enter mailbox number 99 #
4. Enter password XXXX #
5. Press 9 (non-spoken option)
6. The voicemail will list a variety of options.
7. Select 4 for mailboxes
8. The voicemail will then tell you how many mailboxes are available
9. Enter the mailbox number you wish to add and the # sign
10. Press 4 to create
     Or if the mailbox exists...
12. Press * 3 to delete then 9 to confirm
13. or 3 to reinitialize the password
14. or to 4 reinitialize the mailbox

4. Select auto-attendant number 1 (if requested)
